About the event

A virtual event featuring poetry, prose and musical performances by award-winning MOTION, a playwright, screenwriter, poet, and emcee whose feature film Akilla’s Escape received 8 nominations and 5 wins at the 2021 Canadian Screen Awards and who is a writer and Executive Story Editor on CBC’s hit drama series, Coroner (Back Alley/Muse); as well as Wise Atangana, songwriter, performer, author, poet and community builder; Montreal-born lawyer and poet, Leslie Roach; and Anaïs Cardot , a French and Gabonese singer and songwriter currently based in Ottawa.
